I have had my Niro for over 10 months and still trying to find out an item on the screen display. Keep seeing clusters of yellow dots that look like markers of some sort. What are they for? Probably something totally stupid that I will think why didn't I know that.

It shows, where you have been. It's a setting somewhere in the NAV, wher you can switch it on or off.

I don't think so as it shows all over as yellow dots. I thought it was WiFi or places I've been too but it isn't.

It's not somewhere I've been. I thought it was WiFi spots or places I've been but it isn't.

The yellow dots are 'crumbs' left along previous satnav route(s) that could be followed in reverse order. They can be turned off in settings.

There are dozens of them within a mile of where I live and not places I've been to. Where do I turn them off?

Do the dots coincide with downloaded contacts' addresses?

Yes, it is somewhere in the NAVI-Settings ... but after the last AVN-update they are gone and I can't find them back. They where switched on with a predictive wayview of the geographics, so the navi knows, where it's going high and down. It is used for a better support of the ICE by the e-motor.
