The car is a a Niro 2, nearly a year old and 12k miles. The miles below, was a summers day, country and A roads but was able to drive in the most efficient way, getting in to Electric as often as I could.
Not managed to reproduce it. But I will be trying.

It seems very, very good. out of curiosity, do you use regular unleaded?

Yes knea, supermarket fuel. My average per tank is in the mid 70s.

Posted my first mileage and mpg
Had the niro 2 since 1st July
Second fill up 506 miles 35 litres = 65.72 mpg
Using same garage and nozzle in full till it stops ,
Northampton , Shipley 2 trips to Leeds
Then Harrogate trips around area
Home via Meadowhall back to northampton
Then to work in Coventry
Next 557 miles 37 litres =68.44 mpg
Northampton to Coventry not all motorway
A and b toads plus twice m1 closed so stop start
Daventry
And the rest round town a lot of that time on battery
Windows closed
And air con on when too hot , on driver only option
A/c seems to not affect the mpg and works well on
Battery
Mpg seems to be up again
Very pleased with the car
Seats comfortable and sat nav now working
Fine after the little problem to start with .
Got a trip across country no real motorway
So we will see
I use regular unleaded but like all my cars around 4000 miles will use super for one fill up , my choice
But the ceed gt loved it and it made a big difference with fuel and mpg

Last point
Can get the fuel to read 78.8 mpg
And up to 94.3 mpg on a trip
But to be realistic all my fuel consumption is
Full tank miles and refuel to full

Managed 56.3 mpg today on a run from Ludlow to Aberystwyth and back, twisty and hilly is the general description for the route. The trip there was as I would describe "normal pace" and in keeping with any traffic around me. The return trip was slightly more spirited as I had to be somewhere by a certain time and was running slightly behind. Wow, sport mode certainly makes a difference and I was able to make very keen progress!
Overall I'm impressed with this mpg and have the confidence the Niro can move me along quite nicely if I need it to. I have a feeling the gear lever might spend a little more time closer to me in the future.

I managed 57.7mpg today on my 8 mile commute in London. Yesterday I got 49mpg. The difference was that today I switched off the heater and let the cabin stay cold.

Morning all.
Got 58.7mpg on trip for my 10 mile journey from West London to Holborn this am.
Easy on the Drivers Side aircon.
Brim to brim on second fill is 51.5mpg. Slightly down but colder temps are here, so to be expected.
Very happy with Niro 4 with all the bells and whistles.

Hi all.
Very interesting that the hybrid can lose up to 10mpg now with heaters etc on. I was wondering how much it effects the car, now we know.i gather the EV and the phev have some sort of electric heater to avoid engine use. it's a shame the hybrid has not got the same technology.!

The PHEV has no electric heater to my knowledge it fires up the engine to warm the car
