Hello,
Maybe I'm missing something but... I can't see any ref to the 18” wheels in the tag with the recommended inflation pressure.
Please does anyone know what are the normal/max load, front/rear parameters for the 18” tyres?
Thanks!

Hi,

The tag with the tyre pressures should be specific to the wheels fitted.

Hi,
I know, that should be the case but... It's not, unfortunately!
It lists 15, 16, 17 tyres plus a T 15 type. Nothing about 18.

I suppose it's due to an error in the assembly line?

It's 36psi all round on my First Edition with 18" wheels. The recommended pressures are listed in the driver's door frame.

Hi Sulman,
Thanks, 36 PSI.
Clearly the tag I got is wrong, even the tag code is different and the sizes of the tyres don't match the Niro's

looks like you got an American market tag - where is Quality Control when you need them???

P.S. I'd be inclined to experiment with 37psi all round and reduce it if the ride gets too uncomfortable.

Those speed ratings are interesting:

H = upto 130mph
V = upto 149mph
W = upto 168mph

Is Kia not telling us something???

Don't know, but you do get the W rated tyre on the 18" rims and I can confirm that the car will do around 180 km/h max (112 mph).
