Anyone know how to turn off the annoying welcome tune when you turn the ignition key on?

You can't , but you can ask your KIA dealer if it can be switched off.

What annoys me most is not the welcome tune, but with all the other beeps and chimes, the one I would find useful as I have had keyless cars for the last 7 years is that there is no key left in ignition warning when you open the door.

Hi niroal.
Sympathise about the chimes and key problem.
I am sure over the next few years the chimes will get fazed out and all cars will become keyless.
