When charged shows 36 mile range - however the furthest I have driven, very gingerly! (without heater, music, heated seats etc) is about 400 metres before goes to 35. Is that the norm?

Never watched it that carefully, but have driven 29 miles including motorway in EV mode. Had heating on, but got 919 mpg & had 3 miles EV range remaining.

I reckon on getting 30 miles on 1 charge - but it was the 36 to 35 that I was wondering about. Driving out of the car park after full charge, hardly
get to the road before it goes down to 35!

I guess new cars / batteries my take several charges before optimum range is obtained? I read that Tesla do not recommend that their cars are subjected to deep charge/ discharge too often as this accelerates battery degradation. Battery technology may currently prefer 15 to 75 % treatment?

Will see how it goes - done 1200 miles now. No one seems to know if it is better to keep battery fully charged or go to say 80% sometimes.
Would have thought the manufacturers would give guidance by now.
