Has anyone got a spare for the niro 4 18 inch wheel. There is a 16 inch spare available but is slightly smaller about 1/10 imch in radius with tyre on. Is it OK to drive a slightly smaller radius??

Provided it is a one of these "funny wheels" which have a name I cannot remember you can drive in an emergency, the wheel is usually yellow and there is speed limit on it and distance. otherwise all wheels have to be the same size

I bought a space saver and it was delivered yesterday. Everything fits easily and out of sight in the car, including the 2 tonne jack. We have just had to store the big chunky bit of polystyrene. We had a bad experience with not having a spare tyre on our previous car so this is something I wanted to get. This link has been posted here before but said it's suitable for all Niros. We have a Niro 2 so it's a 16 inch anyway.

A full size spare wheel and tyre fits under the boot floor too. I had one for my Niro first edition. I bought the wheel on ebay and had the tyre from blackcircles.co.uk

If you have a blow-out, the only thing that will get you going again is a spare wheel. But in my experience, blow-outs are extremely rare.
