no ,not a hev, a kia niro 4, and its mpg, lol
So if it's not a HEV then it's a PHEV. So much of that journey did you do on EV only, what speeds etc. etc. I drive a HEV, and I've never got above 65mpg even driving as frugally as possible.
UK 2021 Mark 1 HEV 4 in silky silver, standard spec.

yes,i’m over the moon with mine, and 123 miles of n a hot sunny day with traffic is a good distance to average so hig
Best I have achieved on a long run (not quite 100+ miles, about 90-odd I think) was 74.3 but that was in winter and driving frugally - long stretches of 50mph average speed cameras on the M6.
This evening I got back to Birmingham airport, drove through country lanes and about 8 miles of dual carriageway (at the speed limit) and according to the on-board computer averaged 64.6mpg for my 38 mile journey. That was driving entirely normally, about half of the journey with two adult passengers and luggage. I am trying to consciously turn the a/c off as that seems to help with the fuel economy and was fine with the 18 centigrade outdoor temperatures today.

My first journey was from the the dealer to back home almost a year ago and was 149 miles. I have a photo of the trip stats showing I got 91.3mpg. Mostly motorway driving on the M25 including the Dartford Crossing and some jams. Very impressive.
Since then I've only done a couple of 100+ mile trips and got around 73mpg although that was loaded up with the family and luggage and not hanging about...
