By your last comment I take it you have a PHEV
I am not rich enough to be able to afford one. I also would not see the benifit of the extra ££££. But I would like one may be next time or perhaps in the next couple of years a full electric that can get me from here to cornwall on a single charge

Yes John I have a PHEV but I also have solar panels, I would not have bought it if I could not charge it fully in summer and about half in winter from solar. It works quite well for us as we live between our 2 nearest towns and can visit both there and back on a charge. when on holiday or longer journeys I just use it as an ICE as I have never got round to charging at public charge points
