Anybody spotted a PHEV in the UK?

Being keen to try a Niro Plug-in I've been trying to confirm its arrival date. September 1st was claimed to be the release date for prices and placing orders according to one dealer. So far I've not found any such announcement, but maybe I've missed it?
Who's going to be first to spot a "dual fuel" Niro?

Are there many/any external differences? Presumably there is an additional flap for they charging cable?

I don't think I've seen a regular Niro yet, though the Sportage looks sufficiently similar tip make it difficult to be sure when one whizzes past in the opposite direction.

Hi deguy
As far as I know the only external differences are the charge point flap on the front left wing and may be some subtle trim colour and the badge, so I would imagine spotting them on the move would be difficult unless you were on the flap side and it wasn't moving too quickly. I was thinking more of spotting one at a dealer, presumably most likely to be on a 67 plate.

The one i have seen has different head lights , it has a separate low beam and a high beam , but the overall shape is the same , the silver front and rear trim is blue metallic , and the dash clocks look different , but if one did pass you , i very doubt you would notice .

Official release date for the UK today, Monday September 4th, so I was a bit premature with my question. Game on.
Fred.

I haven't been to Oxford yet and seen it:
"NOW AVAILABLE AT BRAYLEY KIA
Hello Fred
Sustainability has a stylish new look. The new Kia Niro Plug-in Hybrid has just arrived at Brayleys and we wanted to let you know first.
Because you registered your interest in the new Niro PHEV, we're inviting you to be one of the very first to explore Kia's brand new hybrid and take a test drive. Find it at your local Brayley Kia showroom."
I have no connection with Brayley Kia.
Fred

Well spotted UpNorth!

Unfortunately if you PCP or HP it a new one is cheaper than this offer. The advantage of course is it is available immediately.
(I've been in this position before - a new car in 3 months time was cheaper than a used one of the same model now. Fortunately I have until May 2018, but of course I have to allow for ordering and delivery time if I go for new.)
Thanks for pointing it out.
Fred

I was in Maidstone Kia this morning for an arranged test drive in a Niro Hybrid. They have a Niro PHEV demonstrator, but I'm not tempted.

Hi David
The only reason I am (was?) interested in the PHEV is because my wife loves driving our electric car. And although KIA have increased the cost by making it available as a "standalone" version of model 3 it is still cheaper than most fully electric cars with a range in excess of 100 miles.

Thanks for reporting your find. Did the dealer make any attempt to lure you into the PHEV from the HEV?
