I am thinking about buying a Kia Niro
Was hoping someone could share experience related to seat softness
We rented one for the weekend to see how we liked it
In short it ticks a lot of boxes except a firm ride. Which i think is true for all cars in this class.
After a day driving around found the dtiver and passenger seats a little on the firm side.
Can anyone say whether their seats softened up after a few months of use?
Do the driver and passenger seats soften ul in Kia Niro?
I guess it could depend on the level of the Niro. I have a Niro 4 with the leather seats and have found no issues with them being hard. Can't spea for the cloth covered seats but i would have thought the generic seat design is the same in whatever model you buy, just the seat trim being different.
MY18 Niro 4 Graphite
The one we were driving was a Niro 4 with leather seats.
comfortable over an hour motorway journey no issue on short journeys
We just felt the seats were firm after spending a few hours in the car around the city, doing various errands for the day.
So we were wondering if anyone noticed the same, and whether seats soften after a few months of use.

After two years and 24,000 miles , I can't say I've noticed any undue softening of the seats. Mind you, after driving Fords previously with their hard seats, I thought the Kia was fine from day one. The big advantage of the leather seats is the power ventilation which prevents sticky back and bum in hot weather!
Ref the firm ride, I would imagine the 18" low profiles are firmer than the 16" eco tyres.
