Red indicator light on Niro hybrid
I have a 2018 Niro Hybrid (HEV) and although I've searched the manual I cannot find any reference to the red indicator light behind the front windscreen. I know what the light if for when charging a plug in type but not a hybrid. Any ideas please.

I asked the same question when I noticed a red flashing light at night in my 2018 Niro PHEV3.
I don't want to mislead you but I found that there was no mention of this light in the user manual.
It starts flashing whenever the doors are shut and the engine is off, (even in daylight although it is very difficult to see).
It turns out this is the car alarm indicator. Never owning a car that came with a fitted alarm before I puzzled over what the red led was for as well.
A kind person on the forum reassured me that it was the alarm indicator and not a malfunction of any kind.
