Resume cruise control
Can anyone help ? I have just picked up my new Kia Niro. When cruising on the motorway I can't seem to get the resume option to work after breaking. I can use the + and - options but can't get the resume function to work. I have tried flicking the switch and tried holding it up for 5 secs but neither appears to work. Am I doing something wrong or do I have a problem ?

Have a look a chapter 6 pages 52 and 53 of the handbook think this is what you want
Hi Steve
I tested this on Tuesday and worked with no issues for me, set cruise control to 70mph let it drive for 5mins, braked so set disappeared from display, pressed resume and set reappeared on dash and cruise automatically accelerated back up to 70mph.

Now after the first 10000 km with my Niro I have the impression that the Niro's cruise control is more "tolerant" than in other cars. Other cars do everything to stick exactly to the requested speed whereas the Niro controls the engines to be in a range of around +/- 3 km/h of the requested speed. As I don't think the sensors are different from other cars it must be the software that does so. Perhaps for economy reasons?
