I assume that Lane Keeping Assist comes on automatically in my 2020 Kia E-niro when I select cruise. A green illuminated icon of a steering wheel appears on the central display and I can feel the car steering for me. Just lately however this green steering wheel has either been white (when I can feel no LKA torque) or it flashes continually between green and white. Being able to turn LKA off in cruise is desirable but what have I done to make it move between the two continuously?

I'd be hugely grateful for any advice.

Probably nothing. The system flickers or turns off temporarily if the camera can't clearly see the lane lines, either because your windcreen is dirty, or if the lane lines are not clear.

The manual tells you what the different colour LKA lights mean. The first thing I do when starting the car is to turn off all LKA with one short press and one long press on the LKA button.
